Klemen Mauhler (SLO)
Klemen Mauhler, an academic among comedians, is known for his numerous impersonations and the infinite number of characters he brings to life onstage. He graduated at The Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana in 2006 with the play Za zaprtimi vrati (Behind the closed doors).
He joined comedy circuit driven by a desire to make people laugh and the liberty of creativity. He established himself as a remarkable impersonator of Slovenian and foreign personalities. He felt the need to perform very early, entertaining his high school classmates and debuting as a stand-up comedian in the now defunct Hound Dog Club in Ljubljana.
Klemen participated in Slovenian theatre sports competition Improliga, hosted prom dances and similar events, acted in several films and plays. He gave his voice to many characters from the Hollywood studio cartoons. As a Komikaze member, he was engaged as an actor and writer for sketches in the commercial campaign Gofla and performed in show Banzaaaj. Recently he played in a TV film “Skriti spomini Angele Vode”, directed by Maja Weiss. He is currently performing in plays produced by The Drama Theatre in Ljubljana.
