Ana Marija Mitić (SLO)
Ana Marija Mitić is a recognisable face of Slovenia's national television. A Comedian, improviser, pianist, puppeteer and medicine student. Recently she discovered the beauty of stand up comedy.
She says that she is self-sufficient and a party to herself. Born in Slovenia, her father comes from Niš in Serbia, mother is Slovenian – »Tall, slim, with bright hair and a firm nose. As you can see, I'm more like my father, « says Ana Marija. She attended music school, where she learned to play the piano, and decided to study medicine.
After high school she started improvising and later began working in KUD France Prešeren, and went on to work for the national television, where we could see her in shows “Štafeta mladosti (Baton of youth)” and “NLP (UFO)”. Currently she’s hosting the show “Dolgcajt (Boredom)”. On the stage of KUD France Prešeren she performs in a mono-comedy “Vsi moji moški (All my men)”, and was also the host of an annual improv show Improvision.
